The NH DHHS, Division of Public Health Services Bureau of Emergency Preparedness, Response, & Recovery is presenting an NH Disaster Behavioral Health Response Team (DBHRT) Basic Training
Details: Wednesday, May 11, 2022
Training 8:30 am – 4:00 pm
Breaks provided throughout the day
Attendees will:
- Learn about reactions we expect to see in the aftermath of critical incidents or disasters
- Gain an understanding of the Incident Command System (ICS) that helps DBHRT collaborate with response partners (i.e. Emergency Medical Services, Hospitals, Law Enforcement, Schools, etc.)
- Learn Disaster Behavioral Health interventions, such as Psychological First Aid
- Discuss coping strategies and stress management techniques for responders and survivors
